On April 13, 2023, a recent peeing incident of an « unruly PAX » occurred on board Jet2 flight LS155 en route from Glasgow to Tenerife South. A 55-year-old man with a history of aggressive behavior urinated in the aircraft cabin.
The Boeing 737-800 with the registration G-JZHT was in use. The man is said to have continued to consume alcohol on board the machine despite the crew’s prohibition. He has transmitted extremely aggressive behavior towards other passengers and even children. This culminated in him urinating in the cabin.
The captain decided to make a stopover in Faro. There, the troublemaker was literally thrown out, but not arrested by the local police. Jet2 issued the 55-year-old with a lifetime flight ban. Some media reports say that he may have been under the influence of drugs.
“Once it had been unloaded, customers had to disembark the plane in Faro so that it could be cleaned before leaving for Tenerife. Not only did this cause a delay for customers who were looking forward to their well-deserved holiday in Tenerife, it also meant that customers wishing to travel back to Glasgow from Tenerife were delayed due to the plane’s late arrival, a wisely localized musitere am, according to the media outlet the Jet2 to the incident.
